Ethiopian Renaissance Dam

What work towards the construction of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam? - As for military solutions, our proposal is not our concern as a people because there are those who know these things from us and more informed about the possibility of their occurrence and results, but I will talk about our role as a people towards this crisis and start to put before your presence some facts: - 1- The whole world is coming to an era of drought (scarcity) In the fresh water) - 2 - the next wars will be on fresh water - 3 - River Nile Since prehistoric times the flood was stopped for 7 consecutive years (lean years) has dealt with the ancient Egyptian and was finding practical and innovative solutions such as: - - The release of high flood water in the Fayoum lowland and the cultivation of 27 thousand acres there as did Amnm The third solution B - economic solution of our Lord Joseph time Hyksos - c - the construction of the High Dam in the modern era, which solved this problem for us during more than half a century The solution that I propose is the economic solution, but in a modified form is summarized in two main points: - First: - Rationalization Water Consumption: - We still use flood irrigation (a backward and costly method of water), cultivate voracious crops of water, sprinkle the ground with drinking water in Khartoum (for humidification), wash our cars with drinking water and pay our waste (siphon) with drinking water, and some of us use a private swimming pool in his house and other faces. Water in the water, which was forbidden by our Messenger teacher - II Rationalization of the number of consumers of water (birth control), taking into account the following: 1 - Egypt's population in 1959 was 20 million people and Egypt's share of the Nile water was 55 billion cubic meters, the same as our water share now and our population is more than 100 million. 2 - per capita in 1959 is 2000 cubic meters of water per year, while the water poverty limit is 1000 cubic meters per capita annually and now per capita in Egypt has become 500 cubic meters of water per year which is the limit of water scarcity - it is very serious -
